My Home Inspection Process
I will conduct a thorough, visual inspection of your home, inside and out. This includes evaluating all the homes major systems and components and noting any deficiencies that I find. I photograph all the problems I noted on inspections and the photos are included on the detailed report I provide for you after the inspection.
As a ASHI and NACHI -certified professional home inspector, I have the knowledge and expertise to provide you with a thorough and professional, non-intrusive, visual inspection of your home, from roof to foundation.
Outside the home, I will check the exterior walls, roof, driveway, deck, etc., then I will move inside to examine the walls, ceilings, floors, doors, and windows. The plumbing fixtures will be operated and the heating and air conditioning systems will be run and checked. I’ll evaluated the electrical fixtures, service and panel. All the noted flaws and damages will be photographed and included in your final report that is emailed to you usually within 2 days from the time of home inspection.
Here are some of the many items I’ll be looking at during your home inspection:
- Foundation and support structure
- Roof systems
- Basement seepage
- Safety controls
- Water heater
- Electrical capacity & components
- Structural integrity
- Steps and stairs
- Heating system
- Central Air Conditioning system
- Walks and driveways
- Plumbing system & fixtures
- Garages, Carports, Workshops or other external buildings
- Surface drainage
- Windows & doors
- Gutters & downspouts
